I have just finished installing the Windows 7 RC to my laptop; All in all, a success. I had some problems with a couple programs, (Skype, Neverwinter Nights 2) but I got them figured out. So I thought I would finish up the install by installing the current version of Convenant Eyes, which I use for accountibility.
Well, as you can see from the title of the post, it didn’t go well–In fact, it borked my system so bad, I thought I was going to have to reinstall. Something along the lines of RPC errors, etc.
Thankfully, I was able to do a system restore to a point before the CE install, and I’m back to normal.
I am still waiting to here back from CE tech support on a potential fix.
Just wanted to give ya’ll a heads up, so you won’t lose an hour of your life to this.
